About The SoSaf Club
For years, I was just another face in the crowd at techno parties. But as I spent more time in the subs and smoke machines, I started noticing something the music couldn't mask: people looking gloomy, lost, or overwhelmed.
I realized then that the vibe of a night doesn't just depend on the DJ; it depends on us. I saw the power of a single fistbump. I saw how a simple, genuine "Hey, are you okay?" could completely shift a person's trajectory from a bad night to a safe one. I knew then that I wanted to do Awareness work, but for months, I didn't know how to bridge the gap between "caring" and "doing."
The Journey
The path eventually cleared when I was picked up by Revolution. That journey took me through the trenches of the biggest stages in the world; Awakenings, DGTL, and AOA. From there, I spent years embedded at Lofi, eventually working across almost every major club and venue in the scene.
What I learned is that Awareness isn't just a vest you wear; it’s a tool for education. It is the "power of presence"; the ability to move freely through a space to find the people who need help and to empower those who don't.
Why "The SoSaf Club"?
I created this space because "safety" is often treated as a checklist or a burden. To me, it’s holistic. The SoSaf Club is built on three pillars:
- Social Safety: Protecting the vibe and the individual.
- Physical Safety: Ensuring the environment itself isn't a hazard.
- Staff Safety: Because the people working the party deserve to feel as safe as the people dancing at it.
The SoSaf Club isn't just a service; it's a way to empower you with the information you need to apply these principles yourself. We believe in Awareness for Awareness sharing the knowledge so that every member of the scene can become a guardian of the dancefloor.
Be cute, be you
xoxo
